I drove out to Granville Harbour and set up camp on a low Bluff overlooking the wild seas, the waves were as high as where i was before they thundered into collapse over the rocky shores about 100 metre out some as tall as the towns houses and splashing 15 to 20 metres up into the blues skies.
Camped on a low bluff about 5 metres above the Southern Ocean … several times i had 5 Metre waves breaking about 100 metres offshore and smashing on to the rocks protecting me . The weather was beaut until after dark then the gale force winds and rain hit but i was nice and snug in bed although the car was shuddering with the force of the breaking waves offshore
It was still raining on and off as i had a look at some of the old buildings from the car window then stopped and uploaded some pics and video before watching a movie to while away a few hours.
