I traversed a rickety old pier and watched the cruise boats dock and discharge their tourists on the other side of the bay.

Had a quick look at the Cemetery

with the Tourists gone i had a look around the Railway Precinct.

With the Tourists gone i found a spot to park where i didn't have to pay and had a quick look around the Wharf Precinct.

I drove out to Macquarie Heads and found a great campsite beside the lake.
I had to share with a young couple in a Disco but they left next morning so i shifted over closer to the water where i had better reception.

6-2-23:
I didn't move far today. The neighbors moved out so i moved my camp 10 metres to be closer to the water and so that the door faced the town so i could get a better signal in the rain as i could leave the door open and the phone inside.
Great spot which could only get better with some sun.

7-2-23:
went down to the end of the road at Macquarie Heads for a look and captured the two cruise boats going out for a look, nipped into town for some shopping then back to camp to swim and relax.

8-2-23:
I headed off to Queenstown and had a look around.

The Airport looks a bit scary!

The Queen River downstream is a bright orange.

[Big Red]

I headed south as far as i could go then camped at Darwin Dam.

9-2-23:
I drove past the fogged in lookout and back into Queenstown for another look around.
